  1. gundayism is rooted in church level also. just today i came to know from a person that at Kannur Chovva Samuel Hebich's Church Vicar and the committee is not accepting TAX from a member. The Secretary, who is a fool among other foolish committee members together with the vicar (birds with same feather flock together) is conspiring. If the vicar can attend for district level election, then why can't he attend church?? He needs POSITION and POWER. Ministry is just a JOB for his livelihood.

  2. NEWS!!! I got a call from the person who told about the CSI samuel Hebich's church vicar and pastorate committee, Chovva, Kannur misbehavior saying that they got returned a letter sent to Chairman and Pastorate committee, CSI, Samuel Hebich's church, chovva, Kannur.

Is that Church Closed down?? Must be. else, the letter which is registered and Acknowledgement card attached will not returned.

    This has to taken seriously.

  3. WE should appreciate Mr. Manoj for bringing this kind of complaints. its not only top level is corrupt but from the root itself our CSI is corrupted.
A Complete cleansing is required. for that, laymen has to join hands together. Be careful not to fall into the evil intentions of VICARs. they practice pretty good the policy Divide and Rule.

Once, I was talking to a CSI vicar about the cross and the pain Jesus had on the cross. Surprisingly, the VICAR told me, if there was Machine gun at the time, Jesus would be killed by it. What would I tell him!!! I knew he never learned or read The OLD testament.

Another time, when I had gone to visit another CSI Vicar at his office, he was about to go out for a prayer. while i was sitting there infornt of him, he opened BIBLE and took some notes and threw the BIBLE. I asked him why he throw the BIBLE and I got an answer from him, its just a BOOK!!!!

What does all these mean???? aren't they making us FOOLS??

  4. Drama is not Over. It is just begun. There are many yet to be brought out to the light. Many Vicars, Church Workers etc. etc...

This should be a lesson for all. Layman has to be careful and vigilant.

Constitution has to be implemented word to word.

  5. Hey Manoj,You know very well that this particular vicar is taking bed rest after two major operations. He is on long leave.I think he is a vicar who was in the fighting path against the Bishop with laymen.
I dont know why committee members refused the letter,it is a matter of enguiry. They are also against bishop kuruvilla.
I have no idea about your need.

  6. Dear Anonymous, The matter is not my personal. But I have seen all those letters sent to the CSI Samuel Hebich's Church, chovva, Kannur by the party. It is a very genuine case.

From your posting, it sounds like who ever stands against the BISHOP is GOOD?? That itself is a bad idea. We have to fight against all the bad practices. no matter whether Bishop or Vicar or any other person. That is the CHRISTIAN SPIRIT.

If one vicar is not well, and is on leave, there would definitely be an alternative. or do you mean to say if the vicar goes on leave for a long period, the needs of the members should wait that long???? Funny!!!!

We are paying fees to the church every month. so they have a responsibility to the members.

  7. Dear Manoj,

One of the song by BOB DYLAN "Blowin' in the Wind" became anthem for the US civil rights and anti-war movements. I think we need this song as our CSI anthem.

How many roads must a man walk down,
before you call him a man?
How many seas must a white dove fly,
before she sleeps in the sand?
And how many times must a cannon ball fly,
    before they're forever banned?

The answer my friend is blowing in the wind,
the answer is blowing in the wind.

How many years can a mountain exist,
before it is washed to the sea?
How many years can some people exist,
before they're allowed to be free?
And how many times can a man turn his head,
and pretend that he just doesn't see?

The answer my friend is blowing in the wind,
the answer is blowing in the wind.

How many times must a man look up,
    before he sees the sky?
And how many ears must one man have,
before he can hear people cry ?
And how many deaths will it take till we know,
that too many people have died?

The answer my friend is blowing in the wind,
the answer is blowing in the wind.

The answer my friend is blowing in the wind,
the answer is blowing in the wind.

  8. Clifford, GREAT. WELL SAID. You have selected APT song. Big SALUTE Dear Clifford. Mr. Manoj, your friend has to walk and walk all the roads before he is called a Man, that is Church of South India.

I suggest one more song by BOB DYLAN.the song name is The Times They Are a-Changin.

    Come gather 'round people
    Wherever you roam
    And admit that the waters
    Around you have grown
    And accept it that soon
You'll be drenched to the bone.
    If your time to you
    Is worth savin'
    Then you better start swimmin'
Or you'll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin'.

    Come writers and critics
    Who prophesize with your pen
    And keep your eyes wide
    The chance won't come again
    And don't speak too soon
For the wheel's still in spin
    And there's no tellin' who
    That it's namin'.
    For the loser now
    Will be later to win
For the times they are a-changin'.

    Come senators, congressmen
    Please heed the call
    Don't stand in the doorway
    Don't block up the hall
    For he that gets hurt
Will be he who has stalled,
    The battle outside ragin'
    Will soon shake your windows
    And rattle your walls
For the times they are a-changin'.

    Come mothers and fathers
    Throughout the land
    And don't criticize
    What you can't understand
    Your sons and your daughters
    Are beyond your command
    Your old road is
    Rapidly aging
Please get out of the new one
If you can't lend your hand
For the times they are a-changin'.

    The line it is drawn
    The curse it is cast
    The slow one now
    Will later be fast
    As the present now
    Will later be past
    The order is
    Rapidly fadin'.
    And the first one now
    Will later be last
For the times they are a-changin'.

    Thank you Clifford. Good work.

  9. When the time for diocesan priests like treasurer, clergy secretary and the priest who is in charge of the laymen is over, there is no point for them to continue in the office.
Let them tender the resignation and wait till the new elected bodies come.I see no logic in their attitude.

  10. Wowwwwww Beautiful. Now this Blog is really doing the great work. There is another song by RAY STEVENS - "The Mississippi Squirrel Revival"
It is good for our CSI Vicars and Laymen.

Well, when I was a kid I'd take a trip every summer down the Mississippi
To visit my granny in her antebellum world
I'd run barefooted all day long climbin' trees free as a song
And one day I happened to catch myself a squirrel
Well, I stuffed him down in an old shoe box, punched a couple of holes in the top
And when Sunday came I snuck him into Church
I was sittin' way back in the very last pew showin' him to my good buddy Hugh
When that squirrel got loose and went totally berserk
Well, what happened next is hard to tell
Some thought it was heaven others thought it was hell
But the fact that something was among us was plain to see
As the choir sang "I Surrender All" the squirrel ran up Harv Newlan's coveralls
Harv leaped to his feet and said, "Somethin's got a hold on me", Yeow!

    Chorus:
The day the squirrel went berserk
    In the First Self-Righteous Church
In the sleepy little town of Pascagoula
It was a fight for survival that broke out in revival
They were jumpin' pews and shoutin' Hallelujah!

Well, Harv hit the aisles dancin' and screamin'
Some thought he had religion others thought he had a demon
And Harv thought he had a weed eater loose in his Fruit-Of-The-Looms
He fell to his knees to plead and beg and the squirrel ran out of his britches leg
Unobserved to the other side of the room
All the way down to the amen pew where sat Sister Bertha better-than-you
Who'd been watchin' all the commotion with sadistic glee
But you should've seen the look in her eyes
When that squirrel jumped her garters and crossed her thighs
She jumped to her feet and said "Lord have mercy on me"
As the squirrel made laps inside her dress
She began to cry and then to confess to sins that would make a sailor blush with shame
She told of gossip and church dissension but the thing that got the most attention
Was when she talked about her love life and then she started naming names

    Chorus:
The day the squirrel went berserk
    In the First Self-Righteous Church
In that sleepy little town of Pascagoula
It was a fight for survival that broke out in revival
They were jumpin' pews and shoutin' Hallelujah!

Well seven deacons and the pastor got saved,
Twenty-five thousand dollars was raised and fifty volunteered
For missions in the Congo on the spot
Even without an invitation there were at least five hundred rededications
And we all got baptized whether we needed it or not
Now you've heard the bible story I guess
How he parted the waters for Moses to pass
Oh the miracles God has wrought in this old world
But the one I'll remember 'til my dyin' day
Is how he put that Church back on the narrow way
With a half crazed Mississippi squirrel

    Chorus:
The day the squirrel went berserk
    In the First Self-Righteous Church
In the sleepy little town of Pascagoula
It was a fight for survival that broke out in revival
They was jumpin' pews and shoutin' Hallelujah!

  11. Good songs. Lirics are like arrows to our CSI vicars and the Leaders.

Hope they know the meaning. Kannur Chovva Samuel Hebich's church Vicar and Committee members must read it.

    Good.

  13. If Bishop and Vicar had Read and Learned these from HOLY BIBLE and practice, our CSI would have been heaven like.

Romans 13:13 - "Because we belong to the day, we must live decent lives for all to see. Don’t participate in the darkness of wild parties and drunkenness, or in sexual promiscuity and immoral living, or in quarreling and jealousy."

Ephesians 5:8 - "For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light!"

Romans 12: 2 - "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."

Matthew 5:16 - "In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."

1 Peter 2:12 - "Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us."

  15. Good work Clifford. i read your other post. yes. These Bishop and Vicars are making us fed up with this CHURCH POLITICS and stay away from church and congregation to make their aim fulfill easier. I too see so many churches are for sale in internet. its very SAD.

As Clifford said earlier post, we should use WHIP on these VICARS. they are the root causes for all these happenings. DIVIDE and RULE among the church men. GOOD WORK CLIFFORD. GOOD WORK.

as Mr. Manoj said, VICARS should know their food is from the pocket of layman. We are giving our money to GOD. Don't think you VICARS are GOD and act like.

Good Manoj for showing so bold to say.

The controversial Martin Luther Memorial church in Mariendorf, south Berlin, is up for sale after parishioners failed to raise the €3.5 million needed to secure its damaged tower. The Nazi-era church contains altar carvings of German storm troopers and a chandelier in the form of a military Iron Cross, as well as friezes depicting Jesus standing alongside German soldiers. The Martin Luther Memorial congregation currently worships on Sundays at the nearby Alt Mariendorf church, built in 1230.

  17. It seems like the people writing the nonsense here have nothing better to do. It is worthwhile to say something if it has any truth. To you all cowards out there who are against the Bishop, nothing is going to happen to him..he will serve the Lord and the church! You People cannot do nothing!!

  18. We have lost our trust in judiciary and our synod authorities. Substantial evidences against Rt.Dr. Kuruvilla were obtained and shown to the authorities for their timely action. Yet the appropriate action against him and his hooligans is still pending. In this condition where do we seek for justice and truth? Did kuruvilla and his men buy both of them in the wholesale market price, beforehand?

  19. All the Dioceses in the Church of South India have become the Dens of Robbers. Those days, Jesus drove away the Robbers, but today, the Robbers have driven away Jesus. The Church has become 'Christless'. As lay people, the best way to register our protest is NOT TO ATTEND THESE CHURCHES, INSTEAD WORSHIP ON THE ROADS AND STREETS SO THAT WHEN THE PUBLIC WILL ASK 'WHY'WE CAN SAY 'WE DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO A CHRISTLESS CHURCH'. ARE WE PREPARED TO DO THIS? LET US CHALLENGE OURSELVES.
