Those who are afraid of the actions of the laws of the land will depute somebody to post comments in favour of them. we are not responsible for that.

As we have mentioned earlier if you kill some of us none of the people involved in illegal actions against the people of north kerala diocese are going to escape.

please try to send comments with human language and with some points related with THE SUBJECT.

ANYBODY CAN SEND COMMENTS RESPECTING THE READERS AROUND THE WORLD.

YOUR ITEMS ARE GOOD TO READ AND HIGHLY INFORMATIVE ALSO. BUT YOU ARE ATTACKING THE BISHOP AND OTHERS WITHOUT ANY HESITATION.
GOD ONLY GIVEN US THIS BISHOP.I CAME TO KNOW FROM RELIABLE SOURCES THAT HE IS FACING CRIMINAL CASES ON SELLING OF LAND.I THING HE IS NOT FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SALES BUT SOME PEOPLE WITH SELF INTERESTS PUT HIM INTO TROUBLES.
BUT ACTIONS MUST BE TRANSPARENT.

PRAYING FOR AL YOU AND BISHOP TO SETTLE ALL THE ISSUES AMICABLY.
WE HATE COURT CASES.

I had sent comments earlier also.
People like me working hard in the middle east are most worried about the status of affairs there.
We send our hard earned money home and instructing our people at home to donate money to church for the benifit of people.

Now we can hear only the news of several litigations.
I think people will be there in the top of diocese to control finance.

I may respectfully request the bishop to put an order to probe on all litigations exist now..
Unwanted cases are there I suspect.
unilateral decisions may lead to lot of complications, which has to be noted very seriously to avoid further loss of money which is owned by the members of the diocese.

Bishop on the hole is a good person I guess. But the PARASITES like Earnest Edapally etc. with him are the trouble makers and puts him in trouble. the parasites may escape very cleverly. If Bishop opens his eyes and see the reality, its good for him as well as the CSI community.

There are some achans stitched new Shirts and Pants for MANAGER and ADMINISTRATIVE posts. We laymen do not want any achans in any managerial or administrative posts. Let them Minister the church and spread the Gospel (If they are chosen or else, let them resign and go home.)of Jesus Christ.

clifford said...

Recently one of my friend said that he had sent a letter to Chovva church, Kannur for some reasons 3 months ago. he did not get any reply from the Achan after 90 days also. is that achan alive or has the church closed down??

clifford said...

Sanila Peter, You may look upon JESUS only. This CSI will only PREACH things and the preached is not for PRACTICE. You do your service to GOD (Not like Achans - for them, it is JOB where they look forward for monthly payment.) and GOD will bless you. Don't get upset or discouraged. May GOD bless you Sanila Peter.

Very Pathetic!! Laymen should have been very careful long back itself. Too Much respect given to the Church Ministers causes this problems. They thought themselves that they are something very respected because of their appearance. IT IS THE WORD THEY SAY IS RESPECTED - JESUS CHRIST AND THE GOOD NEWS.

in St. Mathew we read:

7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

23:14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.

23:15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

23:27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.

23:25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.

These words from JESUS CHRIST is enough for us to understand the ACHANS.

I am from cochin.very frequently I visit this site.when referred about the matters published here with some responsible vicars I could understand that there are rays of truth in it.but I disagree with them with regard to the open flash about the activities of vicars.I can agree that few vicars are very clever than the laittees.I suggest the people behind the operation to please control the comments blaming the whole vicars in the diocese. This is only a request.mind I am not a vicar.

Godfred said...

What my anonymous friend from Cochin said is true. But, we should point out the mistakes and evil attitudes of the vicars. When we say Bishop, its well understood as we got only one bishop. but in vicar's case, we can not pin point out as there are many in our diocese and 1 in 100 is good for sure. but can't help it to blame the whole. I was shocked and horrified when a retired vicar told me a truth that while he was serving in a prestigious church in our Diocese, the committee members proposed him if he keep silent and closes his eyes, he will be given same salary and a half apart from what he get from the Diocese. and the retired vicar told me: they offered money from the offerings people put in church. I was Horrified. Many vicars do accept it and that is why our Diocese is devilish like. Still I have very close friendship with that retired vicar.

clifford said...

Godfred is correct. I have heard GIVE to GOD, GIVE to GOD only. I never heard any vicars or anybody asking "Have you had food?". Poor is always poor and they are for the vicars and others to play around. GOD do not need your money. HE only need your sincere, pure and faithful HEART.

This blog is very good. I always read comments. We should criticize and correct the corrupt. that is our mission. don't get panic when you get criticized. In trial, Jesus Christ did not say anything though HE is innocent and clean. and you are teaching Jesus Christ but get upset and panic while get criticized? IRONY!!! then What you teach?? Peripheral teaching??

why our laymen always pin pointing achans. always.always. I cant understand. There are 63 vicars facing criminal cases in kerala according to studies.
It doest mean that all are criminals.we know certain achans are so bad for the society. but forgiveness is the remedy taught by our Lord Jesus Christ. leave achans. let them have their bread.

In Faith Basel Missionaries did things for US and it is our duty to preserve with faith in GOD. if that is unethical, then let it be so.

The Basel Mission that began as the German Missionary Society in 1815 was the result of a pledge taken by few dedicated Christians at Basel in the face of a military threat.

If God would spare their city, they pledged they would begin a seminary for the training of missionaries. Although sharing the Gospel was their top objective, the economic backwardness and illiteracy of Indians imbued them to establish schools and colleges for the education of all, irrespective of caste or creed.

Furthermore, they established small-scale industries to create employment opportunities and to make the rural population self-dependent. The society taught printing, tile manufacturing, and weaving, and employed people in these fields.

In Faith Basel Missionaries did things for US and it is our duty to preserve with faith in GOD. if that is unethical, then let it be so.

Clifford said...

Sister Sheela, you are Absolutely correct.

for these vicars in CSI, sadu Sundar Singh,

Sadhu Kochoonju Upadesi etc. are fools.

because they did not study in Seminary and

they are not called Reverends. I know

personally many church workers and how they

are treated by the vicars. vicars treat them

as if like a slave, abuses, curse, ill treat

and what not!!!Church Workers teach the

same Jesus Christ though Salary is

different, status is different,so the attitude towards them is also

different. They are made to work like donkeys.

vicars have got superiority complex. its time for them to do self analysis to realize themselves.

Anger, Disobedience, Vengeance, cruelty, moral weakness, gluttony, Greed, Envy, Pride, Sloth, vainglory - these are a few of the sins which is possessed by the Vicars as their great assets.

No hope that the Bishop himself would be prepared to call the council meeting.when such a situation comes what will be your next step.Do you have any plan for public protest.when you commence it all the priests will help you.All priests are in an agitation mood it seems.
Not writing name.hope you get me!!

clifford,
stop your basel mision stories.
I am from this origin.last month the Bishop appointed a person from pathanamthitta as our manager of the same basel mision schools.
I rang up immedietly to basel mision elders at cannanore. They told me to wait and see.
No idea about the silence of them.I was told by them that they are waiting for a court case to come.
If they are going to allow everything,we can see the muslim mukri from musaris take service in our churches.I said it for everbody in basel mision churches.

Clifford said...

Dear Monutty,

Your concern is very genuine and appreciated. I know Bishop appointed a Person from Pathanamthitta. (Also heard he is very much capable person and has good management skills and knowledge also. That we should appreciate.) why nobody from Basel Mission?? There are many Basel Mission Community members immensely capable and skilled. But, we are like crabs in the pot. We do not like other persons come up and we pull down his leg. Some Vicars do add fuel to this as their aim is to that Managership or Administrative posts. In fact, they do the tactics as like the British were practicing “Divide and Rule”. We the Basel Mission community do give respect too much to the Vicars and they UTILISE that advantage.

We are satisfied with pieces of bread instead of full bread. There are a few people from Basel Mission itself looking for the pieces of bread. (You know, some act as strong BEM activist and under the table they negotiate with the Manager or others for pieces of bread and keep silent.) Things are changing and at least some good people are working for upliftment of our Basel Mission.

Why don’t you too come to the fore ground and join hands with the genuine people working for this cause? Speak out, Act and do not worry, we will be with you on both sides. People like you should come up.

Please don’t ask me to stop. I am nobody but I want our community people come up and do good things for our community.

Your concern is very much appreciated.

Qualifications of Bishops

1 This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.

2A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behavior, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

3not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;

4One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;

5(for if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)

6not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.

7Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.

Kenneth said...

1 Timothy 3:8-13

Qualifications of Deacons

8 Likewise must the deacons be grave, not double-tongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre;

9holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.

10And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless.

11Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.

12Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.

13For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.

The Basel Mission now is called Mission 21. when i had been in Basel, Switzerland, I came to know that they are not interested what they have done here in Malabar before; though they have documents an photographs.

1 timothy 3: 1-13

1 Here is a trustworthy saying: Whoever aspires to be an overseer desires a noble task.

2 Now the overseer is to be above reproach, faithful to his wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach,

3 not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money.

4 He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him, and he must do so in a manner worthy of full respect.

5 (IF ANYONE DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO MANAGE HIS OWN FAMILY, HOW CAN HE TAKE CARE OF GOD'S CHURCH?)

6 He must not be a recent convert, or he may become conceited and fall under the same judgment as the devil.

7 He must also have a good reputation with outsiders, so that he will not fall into disgrace and into the devil’s trap.

8 In the same way, deacons are to be worthy of respect, sincere, not indulging in much wine, and not pursuing dishonest gain.

9 They must keep hold of the deep truths of the faith with a clear conscience.

10 They must first be tested; and then if there is nothing against them, let them serve as deacons.

11 In the same way, the women are to be worthy of respect, not malicious talkers but temperate and trustworthy in everything.

12 A deacon must be faithful to his wife and must manage his children and his household well.

13 Those who have served well gain an excellent standing and great assurance in their faith in Christ Jesus.
