RELIGIOUS CHRISTIANITY AND ITS PRIESTLY CLASS HAVE BEEN TRYING TO ESTABLISH ITS HEGEMONY OVER PEOPLE AND CONTINUE ITS EXPLOITATIVE POLITICS WITH THE COLLUSION OF NEO-LIBERAL ECCONOMIC FORCES AND THEIR IMPERIALIST HENCHMEN. THEY ARE LEAST BOTHERED ABOUT THE CHURCH"S APOSTOLIC VOCATION OF BEARING WITNESS TO THE IN-BREAKING OF GOD:S RULE IN JESUS CHRIST AND ITS SECULAR EXPRESSION.IN THIS CONTEXT, I WOULD LIKE TO RECLAIM THE ":RELIGION-LESS CHRISTIANITY " OF DIETRICH BONHOEFFER AND HIS COMMITMENT TO THE SECULAR WITNESS OF THE GOSPEL.
