20.02.2012- A BLACK DAY FOR CSI North Kerala Diocese.

20 th February 2012- It is a Black Day again for the CSINKD.The Bishop has openly challenged the Moderator and the Synod officers by not heeding to their direction to co-operate with the Elected officers and the Executive commitee. He has categorically stated that he is not willing to implement the decisions of the EC.He has climbed one more step to prove that he is not willing to abide by the Constitution. He has openly challenged the officers by saying that he is going head with the Ordination of the ministers and the annual transfer of presbyters without the recommendation of the Pastoral and Ministerial Committee. This is truly un-democratic, un-ethical and never heard of such a thing in the History of this diocese. We dont think whether any other dioceses can ever think of such a situation."A Bishop is the spiritual leader of the church in the diocese and he is responsible for doing all he can to foster the true spiritual unity of the diocese, the evangelistic work of the church and the edification of the ministers and congregations in the truths of christian faith".We think the Moderator and the Officers of the Synod will not be a silent spectator of all these and will act as per the provisions of  CSI Constitution. The total administration have come to a standstill and things are going out of control. There are important issues like the appointment of Higher Secondary teachers, property matters, college issues and several other congregational issues. The Bishop is least bothered of all these. There is a saying in malayalam"Roma Nagaram kathumbol ceaserkku vinne vayana".This is exactly the situation in NKD.Kindly uphold NKD in your prayers.
